A little bit more about the two part program and what will happen while we visit your school, and your school will come on campus. 

In-School Workshop 
UOW staff and current student ambassadors will visit your school to deliver a 1 period workshop (40-60 minutes based on your timetable) for the whole cohort.
We will aim to have 2 ambassadors per class group.

• This offering is dependent on ambassador availability. Please provide as much information as possible about date preferences so we can accommodate your request.

• Offered during Week 1, 2 or 3 of Term 4, 14-30 October 2026 (school availability dependent)

• UOW Ambassadors will deliver the session, supervision of all students is the responsibility of teachers. 

On-Campus Event
Your whole Year 8 cohort is invited to visit UOW Wollongong Campus to participate in UOW ambassador-led sessions which complement the in-school workshop. The day culminates in the UOW Campus Cup at our Sports Hub, where students will partake in interactive games to experience the social and playful side of a university campus!

• Time: 9:00am to 2:00pm  

• Dates: 8, 9 or 10 December 2026  
  We will do our best to accommodate your preferences, although space in this program is limited and we’ll be in touch if we need to make adjustments. 

• Students will remain in their class group throughout the day and must be supervised by teacher/s at all times.

• Transportation: Full bus transportation costs covered by UOW.

• Food: BBQ lunch. No drinks provided.
